This set was sold to me years ago as turquoise. I complained to them about them a while later, it took time. They said it was the veining of the turquoise. The "veining" is getting worse over the years. I don't even wear it often, now I will not wear it at all, it looks awful. Maybe they were cheated by their supplier, I don't know, but this is bad and they should have known or at the very least made it right.

I was impressed by the selection of knives from Santa-Fe Stone Works with Damascus blades and exotic handle materials at reasonable prices. The lady who helped me was very knowledgeable about the items.

the merchandise was gorgeous, and priced like you would expect from a fine jewelry collection. the lady was so friendly and kind that worked there. It was clean, well lit, and all the merchandise laid out beautifully.

I searched a few places before going to Matteo (they had the highest reviews in the Las Cruces area) and I was really happy. The woman behind the counter was super friendly, let me try on rings and necklaces before I purchased and even provided a longer chain for the pendant I purchased. She wasn't overbearing and let me poke around. I was looking for some turquoise rings and necklaces because ~when in New Mexico~ and picked up two great pieces and saw a few others I may have to swing back and check out.

Matteo is my go-to for jewelry in the area. The owner has made sure there's a piece of jewelry for everyone, for as little or as much as you want to spend. He has an incredible selection and I never leave without a piece(s) I've fallen in love with. I've been looking for FireFly jewelry and Matteo carries it! I highly recommend Matteo; the staff are wonderfully accommodating and friendly. Make sure you stop by before or after eating at LaPosta as Matteo is located in the same building!

Not really a gift shop attached to the historical restaurant but a jewelry store of its own. But since it is attached it is worth checking out while waiting for a table when it's busy or before leaving. Selection is eclectic; some high end some simple. Staff friendly and helpful, not pushy. Of course when my stomach is full I'm happy and maybe tend to spend more. Me wife and I were “only looking” and considered it part of our tourist experience, but we ended up buying a fancy stonework pocket knife, a turquoise and silver necklace, a couple silver and gold bracelets, and a beaded necklace.

Went there with my mother yesterday, since we were dining at La Posta and it's been years since we've been, they were very friendly and attentive despite there being a lot of people in there. Went back to get my mother a pair of earrings she saw, very reasonably priced. Great customer service, definitely recommend

The store is great, unique pieces, fun pieces and wide price range. A little something for every one. Plus they carry gorgeous leather bags. I purchased a cross body rich red brown with embossed design.
