The staff are always helpful and the new self-checkout screens can be useful, when in a rush. Though, I could see how some people could get frustrated with the new technology.
It would be great to see better integration between the website and each store. It's difficult to find what aisle an item is in on the website; had to have a staff member point out the small text when I checked out.

A return/transfer I made went quite smoothly, and the staff was pleasant to talk to. When about to purchase frames that were slightly more expensive than the ones I ordered online, one of the staff checked the back to find the same frames I had gotten online with the dimensions I wanted. Excellent customer service!

I have a hard time even giving one star. The framing department completely destroyed my artwork I brought in to be wrapped. A three year old could have done a better job. They put it on the wrong size stretcher bars and as you can see by the photos the workmanship is horrific. There is nothing professional about this job. They ruined my original art.

Great store. It's incredibly easy to find things you didn't know you needed ?
The young man working the counter was super friendly and fun to talk to as we were checking out. Very fun location. Thank you!

The forced self checkouts were a bad idea. So first I go up, and find out I can't use cash, and that's why I was coming in anyway, I made some extra cash. But I give up on that and go to run my debit as credit, but IT CANT DO THAT EITHER. So I click the help button and wait 10 minutes before I just give up and leave. If I have to use my credit card anyways i can just order online, from amazon or joanns who both had the product for 25% less. I just had wanted to use cash. I'm so sad cause for years this is where i spend my time and money when I want to do an art project. I think I will put it as a last resort now especially since there is a joanns and a hobby lobby in town.

Note: employee named Lisa is very rude and unhelpful and even had the audacity to lie to my face.

I thoroughly enjoyed coming to this Michael’s. I’m usually hesitant to go to Michael’s because that’s the name of my moms boyfriend. However this is an excellent location, being near a college campus, some pretty smart people. We got to paint rocks and that was super exciting. If you come in on Sundays, you can do a Sunday craft to take home which is super fun. They are super nice in there! We met one of the managers, her name is Hannah, and she was so nice and made GREAT conversation while we painted our rocks. My friend even wrote her a song. Plus we were greeted when we walked in the store which was super nice. Go Michael’s!
