Hulya is AH - MAZING. Such a sweet human being and of course an amazing tailor. I'll update this review after my wedding with a photo but she took a $150 dress I bought from ebay, and made it look like a $1,500 dress. Unbelievable, she made it fit LIKE A GLOVE! As someone who knows the struggle of being a small business owner shame on all the people here bashing Hulya for not giving a quote over the phone. OF COURSE SHE CANT what if you show up with a size 27 potato sack and you want it to look like a kardashian dress? some people are ridiculous. I know Hulya has dealt with her fair share of bridezillas so she has to be careful about who she welcomes into her shop! I would recommend her and will continue to bring all my clothing to her. So nice to have someone reliable close to my new home. Thank you so much Hulya! Did I mention it only took her like 3 weeks? Extremely impressed. I have been going to Hulya for about 10 years!

I originally brought her a skirt on my 21st birthday and requested a hem for that night and she came through! I have been going to her ever since for all sorts or alterations. She is NOT a tailor from a laundry mat. She is a designer and perfectionist!

Being 5’1 clothing is often too long and so I have had many of dresses and pants hemmed to perfection by her. I also have become spoiled by her in the sense that once you have an outfit tailored to your body, you want everything tailored! She has adjusted dresses for me to properly fit my chest and waist. She has taken the bottom off of a long dress, made it into knee length, and then took the extra material to make cap sleeves for me. I love her!

She is warm and inviting. She goes above and beyond to be available and meet all the crazy deadlines ever since day 1… 10 years ago! Don’t believe those BS reviews by fake customers targeting her to get her to pay them for advertising. It is all a lie my friends! She is the real deal. You won’t go anywhere else, once you go to her. I love her and you will too!

Fair Review

If there was a zero stars, that's what I would give them. I went there today and the service is horrible.

This place they have a sign that says: "Tuxedo Rentals", however when you enter the place, not only the tell you we don't rent them anymore, but the lady attendant who is very rude will tell you "goodbye", before you are done looking or contemplating the possibility of any business with these people think if you want to do business with people who will either stereotype you, discriminate you based on appearances or treat you like nothing for no reason.

I’m not usually one to write reviews, but Huyla is truly outstanding! I ordered a jumpsuit online for my doctorate white coat ceremony and unfortunately, it was way too long. I was panicking because my ceremony was on Saturday and I received the jumpsuit on Thursday. Several other tailors (including one I previously for everything) turned me away, but not Huyla. She hemmed my jumpsuit SAME DAY and even took in the waist on my doctor’s coat. I dropped everything off at 10:30am and she was finished by 3pm. The quality and speed of her work is unmatched and she is truly a pleasure to work with. I will be going back with my wedding gown for alterations later this year! You won’t find a better tailor than Huyla!

Hulya is amazing!!!!!! I got my white coat and needed it for the residency ceremony the next day and it was so huge and ugly. I ran into her store and she immediately started putting pins in it saying she was going to fix it for me the same day. 2 hours later I came back and she transformed my white coat. It fits so beautifully I can't even believe how quickly she got it done for me. She is very skillful and I can tell she loves what she does. Highly recommend. Will bring my other coats to her.

I met Ms. Moda on Thursday 11/03/2022, one day before my wedding ceremony and I was in a dying need of an alteration done to my wedding dress for my wedding ceremony that was going to be held on Friday 11/04/2022. And it was such a blessing on how I found her, I found her through another bridal show I went to on Wednesday 11/02/2022 but on the day the bridal show was close so on Thursday 11/03/2022 the bridal shop returned my call and to make a long story short. I asked the bridal shop if they did alterations and they told me they did, however they only do if the dress that needs alterations done to it is purchased by them and from there I was so hurt and not sure of what to do, that is one the representative over the phone referred me to Ms. Moda and from there I quickly called her and after that the rest was history. She held me with my dress despite her busy schedule and she gave me a beautiful key chain and bracelet for “Good Luck” she’s truly Heaven sent I will always remember her and her kindness towards me. She is truly worth doing business with she’s very professional with her work and very reasonable in pricing and all in all she loves what she does and she does it with so much love, grace and compassion. I thank God for that that referral that was given to me on Thursday 11/03/2022 because that whole entire day now holds a special place in my heart. Thank you so much Ms. Moda for your kindness towards me, thank you for making my special day Friday 11/04/2022 one to truly remember. I wish you all the best when it comes to all your future endeavors.
