I made a purchase at the More Farm Store located in Columbia City, IN. Grant Wood was very easy to work with concerning my purchase. I live in southern IN, I made the purchase over the phone, Grant was very helpful, I told him I was a five hour drive from him and arranged to pickup my purchase five days later from the time I made the purchase. Grant held my purchase as he stated he would and when I arrive on the day I requested, my purchase was loaded on my trailer without any delays or red tape. Maybe I'm the minority, but I've had terrible luck with this store. Here is my experience with Kubota tractor service, if anyone wants to bother reading the whole story:
1. I paid for them to haul in my tractor for routine service. I asked that they quote me the charge before starting any work, and they agreed. Then they contacted me with a $600 bill because they had finished the work. I asked why they didn't quote me, and they said they "don't do that for routine maintenance."
2. They didn't return the tractor on the agreed upon date - I got home from work, and there was no tractor. I waited a day, then called to see where my tractor was. They said they were waiting on a fuel filter that would arrive the next day. Two days later, with no word from them, I called again - no filter. I waited another couple weeks, then asked if it was OK to just use the tractor as-is. They told me it probably was, but still needed that filter.
3. My tractor died after using it for about 3 hours. I called, left a message - no call back. I called for the 2nd time - left another message - no call back. I was busy, so waited another week and called for the 3rd time - left a message - no call back. I called a fourth time, spoke with someone who said he doubted I could possibly have left voicemail messages without a call back...?
4. They told me the problem probably had nothing to do with the old fuel filter or anything they had done. Ok - fine. They said they could not look at the tractor at my home - they needed to charge me to haul it in again.
5. We set up a time for them to pick up the tractor - again. They never came to get it. I waited to see if anyone called to say why, but no one ever contacted me again.
6. After nearly a month of BS, I got a recommendation for someone else to look at the tractor. He came out and fixed it in 10 minutes for under $50.

My neighbor thought it might be because I'm a woman. I don't honestly know. But it's something to consider I guess. They surely did not want my business no matter hard I tried to work with them.

My wife and I ended up getting a large property and were going to get a Zero Turn Mower, but after speaking with our neighbors, they convinced us that what we really need is a tractor with a mower deck.

Fast forward a week, I walk into the More Farm Store and am greeted by Grant. I explained what I thought I needed and Grant guided me.

Grant was kind, professional, and transparent. He walked me through the different options, addons, and uses. He also did basic training on operating the tractor and maintaining it.

I'm happy to say my family now has a Kubota LX 2610 HSD with everything we need for mowing and with getting us through the winter, along with the ability to support future projects.

Bought a bad boy mower from Moore farm stores in Columbia city this spring obviously whoever manufactured it it was either a Friday or a Monday. I’ve had a lot of little problems with the mower itself but I have not had to worry one bit more farm stores has come out, pick them all up, repaired it and dropped it off free of charge, they’re easy to work with nice to talk to the driver. Doug is extremely knowledgeable and what he does and just does a really good job and the young lady that’s ahead of service Gina she is very professional and also does a great job will definitely be doing my service work and any new purchases with more farm stores in Columbia city.
