I’ve gotten all my guppies, plants, discus, filtration and more from this charming little place and have never had any issues with how well they thrive. My alien betta which I paid $79.99 for is the coolest little fish I could ever have! I set up my big aquarium fully planted and decorated from the supplies I got here thanks to the guidance of the staff I have a BEAUTIFUL thriving discus set up my family has grown to love! 10/10 recommend

Mrs. Toads has been my go to pet store for over 5 years now where I visit on average twice a week. From axolotls to tortoises and everything in between, Melissa, her sons, and the team go above and beyond to provide a special customer experience that isn’t easy to find these days. As a reptile keeper and educator, I’m always impressed with the great quality of life and excellent care given to every creature in store as they await forever homes. They work to ensure each animal’s temporary enclosure is specialized to each species—Whether it’s deeper substrate for a burrowing tortoise species or an extra humid environment for South American exotics. They also do incredible work with birds- hand raising them to make exceptionally friendly pets. Finally, Mrs. Toad’s takes in many species of animals from homes that can no longer keep them and they work hard to rehabilitate these babies in whatever condition they’ve been surrendered in. The Dooly/Houston County area is so lucky to have the resource that Mrs. Toads provides. 10/10 recommend from a seasoned reptile and exotics keeper.

Great place! Always a wonderful experience! I stopped by and held some very sweet ball pythons. It was my birthday and it absolutely made my day!!! The team member there was very sweet and knowledgeable about questions I had regarding the snakes.

We need a better pet store put in Perry this is ridiculous I was going to say their animals look healthy, however, after reading these reviews I’d think not, dead rabbits, dead rats, dead lizards, they aren’t giving them water or food the lizard looked dried out, the snakes and turtles looked dehydrated the birds are in dirty fish tanks please look through these reviews before you shop there if you are a fish person like me, I would not buy any fish from here either unless you are extremely experienced on diseases and health because I have bought bettas, tetras, corys, oscar’s, cherry shrimp, snails, goldfish (common, fancy, and koi), and molly. EVERY last one of them died within 2hrs-4weeks of having them, I use the API freshwater master test kit vials to test my water every day to every other day, any other fish I get from pet-smart or pet supply stays alive, one example I’ve bought 2 goldfish from here and 2 from petsmart on the same day I let them sit at the top of the tank for 20 minutes then drip acclimated them, the two from here died 4 days later water parameters were all perfect all my tanks have live plants and caribsea sand and some gravel mixture as a base in all tanks, hideout to tanks that needed it, goldfish don’t need hideouts unless they are sick so they only had the live plants, substrate and bubbles either way them dying was out of my power, EVERY fish, snail and shrimp I have gotten from here died not a single one lived. Majority of those fish in there are dead or on the verge of it, I don’t want to walk in there and see a big guppy cat dead he was so big I felt bad to just see him in there like that and the thing is there were two tanks that had one of these in each one and both were dead the tank looked extremely cloudy and dirty as if they’ve been in there for days. I have a few pictures of the bettas and oscar’s that caught me off guard the bettas have severe fin rot and probably something else, they look extremely unhealthy. If y’all can’t handle taking care of the fish stop getting them or that many or at least be willing to surrender them to people that actually want to help them.

Edit: I was at the store yesterday to be exact I arrived there at 4:52pm right before closing time. Got some ghost shrimp, 2 goldfish, and a plant. This isn’t for any friends, people are posting the truth. I took those pictures yesterday at your store right before I left.. Funny thing about technology it tell you the time and date of when a picture was taken if you need proof, I got you, pictures/videos don’t lie 😉 and If you don’t like it then that’s your problem, you’re the one that owns the pet store, full responsibility falls to you.

this would be the last pet store I would shop at. Neglecting animals every day. Multiple Dead and mistreated. Customer walked in one morning to a dead rabbit. Walked in multiple times to dead rodents and lizards because lack of water and food. These animals deserve better

The best beta tank setup I could have gotten from Mrs. Toads in Perry ga. The very same one somebody tried say the fish were not doing well in one of the reviews someone posted last week. Fish are doing well and alive!

Received my Galah Cockatoo from here took him to vet for a check up and to no surprise he has a clean bill of health! Couldn’t have been more appreciative of the knowledgeable staff! Absolutely love my feather baby!
