The Music Pantry has been a staple of the Richmond Indiana music scene since 1975. If you need a guitar, amp, bass, strings - they've got it! George and Jay are a great team. I always stop by when I'm traveling through. You should too!

Great store with knowledgeable and friendly staff. Everything you would need from guitars and amps to the utility items like picks, strings, cables etc. I recently purchased a new guitar and they set it up flawlessly. 13/10 would recommend.

This music store is small town. The man working there did nothing but fix my guitar. Friendly . Others walking in and he was graceful to them. It took him 10 min to fix my guitar but he had so much care and love for what he was doing. I will go back and I will recommend to others. I have made 2 purchases hear. Both are still high quality instruments. Please support small town business.

The owner of Music Pantry was a very nice man. My friends and I went in to mainly just look around. I have no knowledge of guitars or other strings instruments, however my friends do; I was just there primarily to look with them. The owner saw me looking at the little corner with the lone clarinet and tambourine, and he came over and struck up a conversation with me regarding clarinets and music theory in general, as I am a clarinet player. Even though he didn’t have to, he took the time and talked to all of us regarding instruments and general knowledge. He took about an hour to show us various guitars and amps. It was a really good time. The owner really left a lasting impression and was a great guy. I definitely will be returning.

This place does great work rebuilding guitars. i have bought several things from them and yes their prices are higher but your also buying into a better service/quality.... and they will set up guitars better than buying a guitar in a web store.

they cant always compete with lowest prices, but if you show them the price, they can work with you. don't stop and run out the door because the sticker says something higher.

Loved this store! Was looking for somewhere to buy strings for my guitar and violin and the person (owner?) working there was very helpful and even chatted with me about instruments and repairs for a while.. As far as I know this is the only music store still open in my area, we could certainly do much worse than this one. I was very happy!
