We were in the area when my check engine light and some other lights went off. Asked if they had a code reader. Sure, they have a code reader but charge $25 to read the code. Every other auto parts store I’ve been to will do this for free and these folks just want to take advantage because they are in a tourist location. We certainly won’t be buying our auto parts there.

Good service, not the best selection on hand, still a dinosaur in the world of auto parts stores, wholly overpriced items that you unfortunately are usually forced to buy or wait for Amazon to bring your same part for 75% less.... but if you need it NOW they're just around the corner.

If i could give this place no stars I absolutely would. The guy behind the counter had an unneeded attitude when I called for a price check and availability on a product they sold in store. He said he didn't have time for that. Maybe if you weren't 15 mins late to open the store you would have had plenty of time to get your stuff done that should have been done before you opened.....

I generally wouldn’t go to NAPA just because how expensive they are but as there is no other automotive store in the area, they have MOST parts you are looking for the employees are helpful and nice for the most part. This place is great if you don’t want to travel an hour total to the next town to get a simple part.

Waited 20 minutes for someone to open the door - so much for being open at 8 AM. Another customer had pulled in, and decided to go elsewhere after 10 minutes. Usually good service there- be open when you say you will be.

I have to say that napa auto in Alex bay is the best. I drove from Rochester ny and had a muffler problem. I drove in, no appointment They took me in and fixed my muffler..They put my car on a lift and showed me the problem. They were honest reasonable friendly . I can't say enough how relieved I was when They fixed my car... I highly recommend them. A Good honest auto repair shop is hard to find. But I found this one ...I GIVE THEM 10 STARS IF I COULD!!! Thanks so much. If I lived up here this would be the ONLY place id take my car.
