I cannot say enough good words about this place. Damon did a superb job on replacing my Mercedes struts and shocks, along with an alignment. It drives like a new car now! I cannot recommend this business enough. Fabulous service and people.

Bad experience trying this place out with something simple to see if it was worth beginning a relationship with a local shop; it’s not. I have a tire pressure sensor out and wanted it replaced, when I dropped off the car I told the mechanic it was the driver’s side front. This is also reflected on the dash of the car. I got the car back and the same dash light for the sensor was still on. I figured it needed time to calibrate, same like when I bought the new tires three years ago and replaced the sensors then (normal when putting new tires on). When the dash light did not go off and the car was still not getting a reading after driving awhile I contacted North Idaho Tires. I was informed then, that they replaced the sensor on the passenger side front because that’s how their machine read. They did not contact me before doing the job, to inform me that they would not be replacing the sensor the car says is out, but another that was being read fine. Long story short, my car still says I have a sensor out this shop says that the bad sensor was replaced. Then I was told the car couldn’t tell which tire had which sensor, then I was told all the sensors needed to be replaced, and that they would not fix the one I originally brought the car in for. They also claimed the sensors were the original OEM sensors, that would make them seventeen years old. I told them I’d just take my car back and contest the charge for the work. The owner then says to me “I’m sure your credit company knows how you roll”. I was told not come back by the mechanic, as if I would ever! If a business owner has to attack an unhappy customer personally, I think that says a lot.

We love to use North Idaho Tires. They have saved us several times from being ripped off by other nearby service centers. They are honest, helpful, and kind. We will keep using them for sure.

I had 4 new tires put on 3/11/24. The car was in spirit lake and I could not drive it without new tires. I live in Coeur d'alene id. It takes about 30 min. To get there up hill. Last week I went out and saw one of the new tires was flat. Called No idaho Tires. The women that answered Said there is nothing wrong with tire, it's probably the tire ring, it's dirty. I said don't you clean them when you put the tires on. She said sometimes. She said fill the tire up and drive it to Spirit Lake. I put air in the tire. I drive it around my neighborhood to make sure it would hold. I got home later it was flat again. I just called the women I had Talked to answered and said I d she is the owner. She said the only way she can help me is to bring the car to Spirit Lake. I said the tire us flat, she why did you drive your car around your neighborhood instead of bringing it to Spirit Lake. I said I wanted to make sure I wouldn't get a flat tire on the way up. She said I either have to bring the car up or take off the tire and bring it up. I said I can't do that I am 79 years old. She said if I can wait she can come on her day off and take the tire off. She said if I want I can take it to a local tire shop and have them fix it. And sent her the bill. I said what if it's the tire, she said it isn't. So going to fill the tire up again and take it somewhere local. What a waste of time. And yes she was rude.
