Once Upon A Child Anoka

This place is a rip off. If you want to get more money out of clothes and shoes when it comes time to sell, I would suggest selling online. I brought in shoes and winter boots to sell and they only offered $6.50 for a pair of shoes and winter boots. When I was looking at the clothes alot of them were stained up and honestly pricey for them having stains.

I love this OAC. They always take time their time when going through my stuff that I bring there to sell. I also love that everytime I go there they are really friendly.

Great experience buying and selling here. Much better than other locations I’ve been to. I come here at least once a month for the past year. I think they do a great job running their business, not sure what these 1-star reviews are about? This is one of my go-to locations.

Good prices but shopping is a little uncomfortable due to overcrowded racks... and forget the shoes - thrown in boxes and usually mixed up sizes... rather frustrating. But if you have the time and patience there are a lot of great finds at great prices!!!

They pay very little for your nice clothes, but resell for much more.

I've been to maannyy Once Upon a Child locations all over the Twin Cities. This one was super duper crammed and unorganized. It wasn't fun looking for things because there was so many things in the wrong size area and everything was just packed so tightly. Additionally, I looked at shoes and they were in terrible condition. One pair of size 5 girl toddler fashion boots for $19.50 with scuffs and creases in them made me just quit looking altogether while I waited for the lady to finish up with my trade in. This was the first time I ever came to sell stuff without buying more stuff. I gave a star because the staff was really nice and I've had some pretty rough run ins at other locations. However, it would be in the owners best interest to focus on organizing the store and getting rid of the clothes/shoes that are in really rough shape! Also, there was about 15 strollers outside while it was raining. It just didn't look good at all. I won't be coming back to this location.

Brought three full bags and one tote of gently used toddler/children clothes, coats/jackets and boots (perfect for fall/winter). Traveled a good half hour, only for them to not look through any of the clothes (they’re literally still folded how I had them in the bags) and buy about 5 items for $9. Waste of time. The older blonde lady seems very stand-offish, and came off rude. Why work customer service if all customers are an inconvenience to you upon arrival? Makes no sense! Won’t sell with them or shop with them ever again!
