Amazing selections of gently used & sometimes brand new tagged items! Sneakers are gently used so you can actually find name brand that kids love!
Sales staff is super helpful,friendly & kind. I lost all track of time one night&spent 4 hours!! I was gently & very nicely told I had about 15 minutes until closing- but with no pressure or bad attitude whatsoever!! All the ladies there went above and beyond to not only hold my items so I could return and sort my stash the next morning - but they also held my items over the time I said I’d arrive.
I got over $150 worth or both kids sneakers school uniforms& regular clothing! It was probably closer worth $700 if I’d bought at Dillards.My preteen is mega picky about buying used items but what I got had all new tags & she was more than happy when she saw what I’d bought! Overall I give them 5 STARS as probably the best location they have!!
My only small issue is the aisles are a bit tight to navigate but it’s organized 5STAR SALES STAFF & merchandise!!

Three weeks ago my family and I were devastated by the hurricane. Today I took in three small boxes and one tote bag to try and exchange my children’s outgrown clothing to replace toys that they have lost with the money received. The managers Sarah and Henna refused to make an exception to their “two bag policy” to take my items. I cried and pleaded with them, as we have lost all containers and only had smaller boxes - I even asked if I could borrow one of theirs to fit all of my items into one container. They refused despite the circumstances. As a previously loyal customer, I’m shocked at this treatment and that they won’t make simple exceptions even in this state of trauma and crisis our state is in. They could have simply taken my four small containers and made a customer incredibly thankful, instead they had me leaving in tears.

Editing to add that I took my items to OUAC north Tampa and not only did they make an exception to take all of my items, but they also took my items after their trade in hours were closed for the day. I spent $63 in store AFTER my trade ins. Customer service goes a long way!

Horrible attitudes and clearly they pick and choose who they take things from based off their opinions of you. I do not recommend what so ever! We came in with clothing that still had tags on it and looked better than the stuff on their shelves. I don’t think they even looked at our stuff. The trouble you go through just to get into the parking lot should be a sign in itself to go somewhere else!

Always find something useful here. Ladies behind the counter don't have all the answers, but are friendly and helpful nonetheless. It is good to know that items sold here are being checked via online search if they have all the parts. I will never pay full price for anything, if I can help it. The littles grow so fast that most clothes and toys definitely have plenty of life left in them to be "handed down" at a fraction of the price when purchased new. I recommend shopping here. Prefer this location over the one in Largo any day.

Recently moved from old location by Chuck E Cheese. Much bigger store. A good place to go to find gently used kids clothes and toys. You can also sell your old (in good condition) children's clothes here. They could use more staff on checkout. There were 4 employees that I could see on Saturday afternoon, but only 1 was dedicated to checkout. The others were quite busy with their tasks of buying, pricing and stocking. Overall, a nice place to shop.

I brought some boy school short in a good shape today. They offered $1 per each, but they sell them for $5.50 each one after.
Have been several times in this store, and never got a good deal.
I took a toddler Birkenstock sandals new with tag and box, got offer $3. Really?
This place is not worth it.

I love shopping at Once Upon A Child. I never leave disappointed, I always leave with great clothes, gently used. Staff is always friendly and helpful not to mention all the deals they have every month and their rewards program. I’ll always find a once upon a child near me.
