This is the perfect consignment for moms who enjoy saving and name brand clothes for their children. I was probably a tiny bit disappointed at this retailers offers for my donations. Their offers at various stores were often way too low for items I paid a pretty penny for, and it just didn’t make much “cents”, so instead of retail donating, I decided it’s much more rewarding to just GIVE my nearly new items directly to a child in need or donate them to a local non-profit or church. The children I randomly found and gave my child’s clothes to were SUPER grateful and I’m so glad I did. I even had items to give to their mom. We were all smiles, and it was definitely worth my time and every penny to see them happy. I still enjoying shopping at ‘Once Upon a Child’, and I would tell any mom it’s one of the best places to find newer gently used clothes at a low price.

I’ve always enjoyed shopping here but seems they are going downhill and personally if you have nice, barely wore or new clothing that’s name brand ( polo, vineyard vine, Nike, Gap to say a few) they do not give you hardly any money for your items. I will never sell there again. Sad to say and I have never in my life posted a review

I have tried to hold out from posting this review! BUT I AM DONE AND FED UP. for one this store has some really great people in there. But I have been shopping and selling with this store since 2016. You would think I was grandfathered in the new location / rules are TERRIBLE! Its never completely organized , they hardly give you any money for anything its a WASTE to sell the wait time will be 2/3hours but by the time you leave the parking lot get down the street and maybe on to your next errand or back home. You get a message saying its ready. I sold some items literally A whole entire BARBIE lot. And they only took 3 things. Then had the audacity to tell me its an issue if the barbie isnt clothed! WHEN THE CLOTHES WERE IN THE BIN! the quality has gone done they are lazy when they are looking through stuff just oncing over snd then throwing it and saying no. When half the stuff in the store is dirty shoes , broken items , stained clothes , freyed fabric , some broken zippers. If you pay attention to detail youd see it. I bought a brand new pair of jordans here and they offered me $20 of a shoe that i paid $100 for. out of the 9 years ive been here im disappointed. And wont be returning ever again. The value has gone down. If you want high quality customer service, good brands , clean items and good money for your items go to once upon a child in douglasville its WORTH the drive. Or even kid to kid on cobb pkwy.

I have been shopping with this store for almost 4 years. I've been selling items for nearly 3 years and recently they have gotten picky on what they will buy. I've noticed that since they got new staff things changed. I went in today and had some brand new items in to be sold and they didn't take them, had toys that worked and they didn't take them. The old staff would have bought it. I hate to say this but they may start losing my business and I'll go elsewhere.

Horrible horrible horrible service. Last time I was here I brought 6 pairs of used but new looking Jordans and a bag filled with designer clothes like Nike, adidas and lrg. I had no problems and thought the process was easy and pleasant. This time I walked in and not one out of the 4 ladies greeted me when I was spoken to the only thing the lady said to me was are you making a return. I told her no and she said nothing else to me, after a few minutes another lady came around the desk and askes me if I was selling and I said yes. Within 3 seconds she smelled my sons shoes and a shirt and told me no she would not take them and that it wasn't fresh enough . I was very confused as nothing had an odor and some of it had just came out of the washing machine earlier this afternoon. She said my shoes had 2 black spots one on the bottom of each which I would think would be normal considering that they were used but looked great and were originally 150$ in the store. She walked away from me after saying this as if my presence there was no longer relevant. I have never been treated like this. She was very snobbish and had no reason to turn away my sons stuff all of it was nice and new looking and I've never purchased anything from this store only sold. She treated me as if I was beneath her. I'm highly offended and discouraged by the staffs behavior as I thought this was a place that took nice things and put small prices on them for familes to be able to afford them and now I'm completely turned off by this place. I would rather take his stuff to a church and make sure they go to family's for free than to allow a place that treats people like this to profit off my sons things!!!!! We are officially done doing any form of business here. And for the record you never know who your treating like they are beneath you so your staff should really humble themselves!!!!! I've uploaded photos of my items for all to seee. 3pairs of Nike pants a pair of minions pajamas and a tan pair of Jordan's . Just a small amount of the things I had brought in.

I LOVE this store. I wish I lived closer. The staff is SO FRIENDLY when I sell or purchase. They have REALLY high standards for selling so I don’t even feel like I’m buying resale items. I have been to lots of other consignment stores and this one is the nicest.
