I’ve been a loyal shopper at the Mishawaka location for 6 years, but decided I would try out the one in Valpo as it’s closer. First thing I noticed was how overpriced majority of the clothes were compared to what the Mishawaka location charges. Most Garanimals brand stuff at the Valpo location was $5.50 each. Mind you, brand new at Walmart shirts are under $5 (Mishawaka charges $2.50-$3.50 for that brand). I picked out some clothes went and paid, they don’t do military discount. Big difference from the Mishawaka location. Yikes ok. I get home and go to take tags off and I see this. Upcharing at a resale store… original tag says $4.98 and Once Upon a Child is selling it for $5.50…. All the more reason I won’t shop there again. Ripping people off and do not offer military discount😬

Older woman with brown hair was very rude no hospitality, coming from the south that’s what I’m use to. The woman lied and said they close at 5 when they close at 7. I felt very rushed. The didn’t even go through my whole box. And complained about the clothes smelling like a box instead of detergent when why would I wash my clothes if none of them were going to be taken especially the brand new ones

Unfortunately in order to leave a review you have to give one star, but if it would allow I would give zero stars. This place is an absolute joke. On multiple occasions my wife and I have taken stuff there to sell and every time they have another excuse as to why they had to pass. I get passing on items that’s not the problem here. The real problem is giving an excuse like I got today (they couldn’t accept the clothes because of an odor they had), all these clothes have been washed and folded nicely into a carrying bag in order to be sold. So now they don’t like the laundry detergent we use. And not to mention them looking through the bag unfolding everything and just throwing it back in the bag with no cares in the world. This location is a sorry excuse for once upon a child. Unfortunately it’s closer, but our business will go to the southbend location as they are friendly and not right out jerks like everyone in valpo.

First time here. Overly priced for used items. I tried bringing in stuff and they told me they couldn't take not one thing out of the bin because supposedly everything needed to be "washed". I wash and go through every thing before bringing them in. So I know that wasn't the issue. I doubt they even took the time to go thru the bin. So I will never be coming back to this location. I'll stick to the Crown Point one.

Worse attitudes. I came in at 4:10 ~ they said they close at 5. Website said it closes at 7pm. They rushed my box I had brought in. Had the worse attitude ever… won’t ever be coming back I’m here 🙂

I am a huge fan of this store! The prices are very reasonable and they sell items that you can't find in stores anymore. The items are Always in good working condition and the staff is Always friendly. It's the biggest bang for your buck! I highly recommend checking this store out!

I absolutely love this store and location. Both of my kids’ clothing, toys and equipment are from here. To pay regular prices for things just is crazy nowadays.. you can’t beat the prices here! The staff is great and very personable. Selling here is great as well! It’s nice make extra money by selling or trading items in to get new things you need! Just remember it’s not a place to get rich.. but they’re very good about accepting what they’re able to and what they need! They’re always buying (never stop) and accept 4 totes a day which is so nice for most people. I highly recommend!
