I came into Qwik Fix to have my Thorogoods re-soled. I could not be happier with how they turned out. These have been my favorite boots for years and I'm thankful to have a place like this in Cape that can keep them going for me. I couldn't have asked for better service and the pricing was very reasonable as well. I would absolutely recommend Qwik Fix for this service, and I hope these boots live to get another resole there.

After trying to get two pairs of boots resoled at a different business and being told they couldn't be resoled I decided to get some new boots instead. I'm new to Cape Girardeau so I decided to look around at every boot store I could find in the Cape & Jackson area since I didn't know what to expect at any of them. After trying 4 other stores and not finding anything I liked, I eventually found Qwik Fix.

Hope and Gene were incredibly helpful, and while we didn't find the right boots for me from their inventory on hand, we did manage to find a pair that I liked a lot in their catalog. We figured out what size I needed by measuring my feet, then trying on other boots made by the same manufacturer which were similar enough in style to what I wanted in order to help confirm we were on the right track. Even through we were fairly confident we had the proper size, Hope told me that on the off chance they didn't fit when they came in (or I didn't like them) that she could order the next size up for me (or I could get something else if I preferred). Having the peace of mind that I wouldn't be obligated to buy something that didn't fit, look, or feel right really put me at ease.

She placed the order later that day and they came in FAST, only about 2 days later. When I went to pick them up and tried them on they were PERFECT, exactly what I was looking for. After that, Gene helped my girlfriend and I find some new winter coats for each of us too! Their selection of Outback Trading Co jackets, coats and vests is really impressive (even better than what Cavender's or Boot Barn typically keeps on hand this time of year).

Overall Qwik Fix boasts a good selection of Boots, Shoes, Clothes, Outerwear, Hats, Jewelry and other apparel and accessories, provides turnaround on their orders that is as fast as humanly possible, has very fair prices for everything they sell, and is owned and run by an incredibly kind and helpful couple who did everything they could to get us squared away for the winter. Myself and my girlfriend will definitely be back!

It took a little bit, but my resoled boots are gorgeous. Gave me a good price too. Can't wait to wear in the fall. Be patient. They are the only shoe repair service in the area. Well worth the wait!
