We just dove 5 dives with Seasport. We did 2 tanks on an afternoon South Shore dive and then 3 tanks on an epic Niihau /Lehua all day dive trip.

Captain Jordan was excellent both trips. The water on the South shore was much rougher than other places we have dived. He said it was a relatively calm day. He did a great job of keeping us informed and making boat entry and exit as safe as possible.

Bree was our dive master for South Shore and did a great job. She was knowledgeable, friendly and personable.

If you are used to diving Florida and the carribean like we are, just know the water will be rougher and not as clear on Kauai south shore.

The 3 tank dive to Niihau and Lehua was a really long but epic day and well worth it. Beware that it is a 2 hour boat rode there and 2.5 hours back over rough water. The 3 doves there make it worth it though. Monk seals and sharks were awesome. Very few places in the world to dive with monk seals and we saw several. Visibility was much better at Niihau. It was relatively easy for Jordan to fine spots around the crater for high viz.

Our crew for the day was Capt. Jordan, Corbin, Erika and Bree. Once again, they were great. Our day was 12 hours long and theirs was 14. Even at the end of the day they were professional and friendly.

I highly recommend Seasport. First class all the way.

I highly recommend Seasport Divers! The captain, dive crew, and shop staff were all fantastic people. They also have the best dive boat in Poipu. I felt safe and excited to be diving with Seasport in Kauai.

I went on the Ni’ihau boat dive with Seasport. Some of the best diving you’ll ever experience. The Niihau topography and architecture is insanely unique and impressive in its own right. Coupled with the “big” wild life, this dive is truly special. We got to see and approach several monk seals. And the sharkys. So many. I saw Sandbar, gray reef and black tips.

The seasport boat is huge and Captain Jordan was great at navigating the trade winds on the way back. Scuba masters Erica and Corbin were knowledgeable and helpful, as was Megan! Crew was great. I was worried about the long boat ride out and back but it really wasn’t that bad and it’s definitely worth it!

If you are a diver you must dive here and especially the Ni'ihau trip for experienced divers!

Seriously though .. CANNOT MISS!! I can't say enough amazing things about this team. I was sick the week before traveling to Kauai and was worried about my residual congestion / sinuses leading up to the 3 dives. I stopped in the dive shop the evening before the dive and the expert staff helped to assuage my concerns .. they told me I would be diving with Anthony the next day it would be a day I would NOT want to miss, because he has a magical relationship with the ocean life around the Forbidden Island. Thank goodness I listened to them .. I would have never forgiven myself if I had missed this day which was honestly the best day of my life. Per their guidance .. I stocked up on Sudafed and Afrin and was good to go.

Anthony and Jordan, the captain, could not have been more amazing. Both of them were constantly working, ensuring the tidy ship and brand new, high-end equipment were all good to go and so were we. I barely had to lift a finger the entire trip and it was pure enjoyment, Anthony was also an extremely capable and experienced dive master and I felt safe the entire time, even when a current picked up on our second dive.

While yes, it is a long commute out to Ni'ihau and a long day in general, take some Dramamine with you for the waves and you will be fine! They had everything else you could possibly need on board - water, coffee, breakfast, delicious fruit, lunch. I rented equipment and it was the nicest I have ever rented.

The dives did not disappoint. At one point, there were too many exciting to see at once and you literally did not know where to look .. multiple sandbar sharks cruising by, rare / endangered Hawaiian monk seals, octopus, from the surface we saw manta rays, pods of spinner dolphins, sea turtles, and the BOSS of a Captain Jordan was able to navigate it all. We didn't miss a thing!!

I would have considered the trip 10 / 10 but on the way back, the most magical thing happened. The captain spotted something HUGE in front of us in the middle of the open ocean, somewhere between Ni'ihau and Kauai. He navigated the boat right up to a whale shark and immediately let us jump in with our mask and fins .. it was ELECTRIC! He wasn't satisfied with that because not everyone got in the water quickly enough, so sure enough he found another, even larger one which was so curious about us that we got to swim together for a good 5 - 6 minutes and it was a completely intimate, natural, un-threatening environment for this majestic animal, unlike other places you can go to try to swim with them around the world. I will never forget this day and I honestly still can't believe it happened!

I would have never forgiven myself if I had missed this trip and I hope you won't miss it either!

We dove today with Corbin, Debbie, and Jordan as the boat captain. Corbin was so patient and very good at checking in on all of us throughout the dive to make sure everyone was good, we were seeing everything, and taking videos of us so we can just enjoy the experience. Debbie dove with the other group and was a lot of fun on the boat. Jordan had a few skills up his sleeve that made the boating portion extra fun! Thank you all so much! Highly recommend!!!

I had an absolutely amazing time scuba diving! The sites were breathtaking, and seeing a sea turtle up close was truly unforgettable. Captain Cole and Dive Master Bree were incredible—professional, fun, and made the entire experience feel safe and exciting. They went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a great time. I can’t recommend this team enough for an unforgettable underwater adventure!
