For the first time about a month ago, I made my first online order. The local store to me did not have the item I wanted in stock. So I got ahold of customer service to put a order in. I gave the item number to the representative on the phone and he did a check for me. He found that Shoe Carnival had the size I needed in stock. So about a week later, the item arrived at my door. That day, I tried them on and come to find out, that size was too big. So now I needed the next size down. I called back to customer service and the rep checked once again and his reply was, I see its in stock and we will get this expedited out to you once we receive your return. Well about two weeks passed for that whole process. Then I happen to check my bank account and see there was a credit from Shoe Carnival. I thought what is this! So I contacted Shoe Carnival and was told, it was cancelled because the shoe was out of stock. Excuse me, what! I said I received no email explaining this. Trust me I looked over and over. I was pissed! Why not suggest I could have ordered another type of shoe for the same price or we will keep your order live and send the size you need once it comes in. I was left with no alternative. Just cancel it and that was it. Thanks for the no help to keep a customer happy. Looks like I will be spending my money with other businesses that want to keep customers coming back. Shame!!!

Awful working conditions at Shoe Carnival. Management is unorganized, and the environment is stressful with minimal breaks. Unfair treatment of staff and low morale make it a miserable place to work. Avoid if you value your well-being!

Went to shoe carnival to do the buy 1get 1 sandals they have an advertisement on their front door. Employees advised me that they don’t carry any of the sandals that run with that program it’s just to get customers in the store. So still decided to buy my son some sandals and they marked out the prices with sharpie marker and sold them for more and said that they don’t have to sell them for the price on the box. The cashier and manager said hey don’t get upset with us that’s what our corporate office wants us to do. Very poor ethics in my opinion.

Had a good experience in store. However the shoe size I need wasn’t available. The cashier placed order for me to get the size I needed. Once shoes arrived they were the wrong size in the box. Kelly at Customer service at corporate was amazing and is going to make it right. Happy camper again.

Placed an order and immediately realized I ordered the wrong size. Contacted customer service. Was advised they would email whomever to change size or cancel order. All within 10 minutes. Got a email saying that could not do either. I’ll never order again.

Shoe carnival discriminates against the tribal nations in Oklahoma. They will gladly accept our debit cards with tribal money but when it’s a tribal check they deny our money. Shoe carnival is a racist company

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes pink and brown steve madden tennis shoes. When I put in my order and my card information in the first time on my phone, it said error. I didn't receive any confirmation in my email about it going through even though it said error. I then proceeded to still purchase them but instead on my laptop, it went through on my laptop. I then received a email confirming that my purchase went through, the next day i realized my account in a negative. Which means they charged me for 4 pairs of shoes and I only received a confirmation for one of those transaction. I then had to pay my bank a fee that i didn't create or do. So that same week I received all 4 pair of shoes and had to return each pair of them because i was charged double and it was the wrong size. I still wanted the shoes so i told my mom to order them instead since the first time i ordered it gave me error. My mom orders both pairs of shoes the same day, i return all 4 pairs of the shoes. I received only one pair which was the pink one the next day, even though she ordered both pairs together as one transaction . Shoe carnival then proceeds to send me a used shoe. The inside is dirty, as well as the bottom of the shoes, it has black marks on the shoe too. My mom looks at her account and they then reverse a payment and send the money back for my other shoe. So at this point I went and ordered that same pair of brown shoes that I did not receive from Macy's. Later on that day my mom gets a email about the brown shoes saying that they are on the way after they reversed the payment and after i have already purchased them again from another place. I then go and call the 1-800 number Roshnin is the one I spoke to that works for the call center devision would not accomodate anything. I explained everything and she basically called me a liar about the shoes not being dirty and about how the first transaction i doubled charge it myself. Which was 4 pairs of the same shoes that I returned the next day. Roshnin then put me on hold to speak to her supervisor of the call center. The supervisor name was Winnie, she was rude, she does not care about her customers, she would not accommodate anything for the inconvenience that the caused, all she said was i would have to return the shoes and reorder again after both incidents happened in the same week on there behalf. If i could give 0 stars i would do just that, this is extreme poor customer service. I will not be giving service to them ever again.
