It was our first time visiting New Mexico and of course we wanted to try the slopes lol… We stopped at ski west and they made it so easy… Very helpful, the gentleman gave us some safety tips and lessons on how to ski, and the lady helped with everything we needed! Will stop again!!!

Excellent work, prices are very fair. This was my first visit and I was desperate to get my ski serviced for the next morning. The tuning was spot on, my skis performed beautifully. Thank you!

It was such a great decision coming here! Incredibly friendly and helpful and amazing prices! He gave me some tips for when I got on the mountain that really helped, and gave us all the gear we needed and didn’t try to waste money on things we didn’t need, we even saw him on the slopes! We got the right sizes and had great conversations, they are really great people I’d be willing to give my money to! We will always come back to these great peoples shop 🙏 thank you!

Renting from Oren & Trish is like getting gear from your incredibly knowledgeable + friendly next door neighbor. Gear is good quality & priced fair, and they always share helpful mountain tidbits. Plus we love seeing their cute dog, Ellie. Wouldn’t take my family anywhere else!

Orion is the best! No matter what your product is, customer service makes you or breaks you, Orion at Ski West Sports is awesome! Got the opportunity to visit Ski Apache this week, not before visiting Ski West Sports and discovering a true form of great customer service. Not only are his prices lower than the prices at the local ski places by $7 - $14 per rental, BUT, Orion, the owner, went above and beyond to explain to us (a family of 8) everything we needed to know as first time skiers. I'll explain; He explained to us and by daughter (the youngest skier with 11 years old) about Pizza \/ to break and || fries for speed. How to slant and use your feet to make proper turning both on Skies and 2 snow boards. He also explained 2 ways to properly put your skies and snow boards on, how to use the sticks, etc. To make a detailed story short, as I was helping my kids and explaining to them again how to properly posture themselves and stuff, 2 people asked me for help confusing me as a trainer. I asked them, where they had rented their equipment, they both said from the Ski Apache rental and I said, they didn't give you pointers? They didn't help you? They both said no. I thought to myself, hmm they should've gone with Orion. I helped them both. Now, I KNOW Ski Apache offers quick lessons and they staff is super helpful, but that's another review which I will do right after this one. Excellent place, highly recommended!! Great prices, variety and most importantly service!!

Very friendly. They're well established (in operation for "30 winters"). My wife needed to swap out her rented ski boots. We were unsure about the size and went bigger. Ski West made time for us in the middle of a rush of returns for a smaller pair. The process of renting equipment was very easy and their prices are fair. We'll be back next time. If you rent at the mountain it's gonna feel like an assembly line. Ski West will be sure you're equipped well the your ability.
