I found a wallet in the parking lot it had around 7 to 1000 dollars in it ! I turned it in and I told the kid behind the desk that he should call the lady before she cancels all her cards!! Her name and stop a shop card was there! He didn’t i check later he just blew me off! The store was not busy he could have help her! I think his name was Ryan

This store used to be well stocked and staffed with people who were both courteous and helpful. Things have changed! By and large my experience with the staff has been rudeness or avoiding offering help.I stopped at the customer service counter a couple of days ago at 8:57am and started to ask the woman behind the counter what aisle I could find something. She very rudely said "I don't do anything before 9." Clearly the right person to be stationed at Customer Service. A couple of weeks ago the bakery area had a card table set up with a sign reading "pumpkin donuts." Except the donuts were all apple cider. I mentioned it to a woman working in the bakery and she shrugged her shoulders. I guess it would be too hard to remove the sign. The self check-out scanning devices are in non-working shape. They mostly scan items well enough but the touch screen on many of them do not work, so when you try to press the "check-out" button it doesn't work. I pointed that out today to the woman monitoring the self check-out area. She took the device from me and put it back on the charging rack for someone else to use. WOW!!! I had gone to the same rack to replace the defective one with a different one but the card reader that you scan your ID card to said that none of the devices were charged. I was at the store a couple of days ago to buy some items......the shelves used to be better stocked during Covid. I went back today and the same shelves were sparsely stocked. On the bright side, they have new shopping carriages and there's plenty of parking. It's truly unfortunate. I want to support my local store but there's just too many issues. I end up having to go to another grocery store to get what I need.

Is a nice place to find thing that you need, and the fact that is open until midnight really help when you have a busy day.
the portable scan they have helps to make the shopping easier and faster at the checkout.

This is probably one of the worst stores I’ve ever been to the people that work. There are extremely rude, especially Gavin. I think that was his name he was doing shopping or something. I also had my order delivered is pathetic and the products are not up to standard. I would never shop at the store again or would I have delivery from the store?

If you’d like to be verbally attacked by miserable employees, shop here.
If you’d like stocked shelves, fresh produce, meats and fish go to Big Y. They have friendly employees who are happy to help. Stop and Shop’s culture must be fine with hostile employees and outdated merchandise.

Always very clean; staff is friendly and helpful.
They also seem to be consistently better stocked than other Stop & Shops I have been to in the past.

I lost my wallet at the self-check out area. After panicking when I couldn't find it in my car or on my person, called stop and shop, where I last remember having it. The wonderful women at check-out saved it and kept it until close, when I could come back a grab it after my work day. I feel terrible for not remember her name (wonderful lady with dyed red hair) but thank you, thank you, thank you!!! You saved my day
