I recently visited Stout’s, and I was absolutely delighted by my experience! This charming old shoe store has a character and history that you simply can’t find in modern shops. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly staff, who truly helped me to find the write shoes.

If this 5 star review, and the many others you see here, are not enough to convince you this place is awesome - nothing will!

We started at the Brownsburg location looking for dress shoes for my son going to prom. He found a shoe he liked but they didn't have his size (12) so they said they would check the downtown location. They did have it downtown so off we went.

We were nicely greeted and were told someone would be right with us. We indicated a call from Brownsburg was made and they immediately knew what we were there for. Unfortunately, the shoe was not a good fit for him (narrow feet).

For the next hour, the store manager - Stephanie - made herself my son's personal shoe specialist. She was amazing. She was insightful and extremely knowledgeable. She gave suggestions. Most of all, she was patient. My son is quiet and can do the typical teenage - "uh, I don't know" answer to any question and she managed him beautifully! ❤️

I can't thank this place enough!

If you need shoes for business, prom, running, hiking, casual, or anything - this should be your first stop!

I had the chance to go to this store about two weeks ago. I was assisted by a gentleman by the name of Tyron. He was very friendly, polite and kind. He answered all my questions and recommended the right insole for my shoes. I am originally from Chicago, but I will definitely stop by next time I'm in Indianapolis.

Cara, was very patient, professional, friendly, and helpful. I didn’t really know what I was looking for but, I wanted something that would be comfortable. She sized my feet and, after some discussion about what was causing me a problem she came back with 4 or 5 pairs of shoes she thought would be a good fit.
The first pair of shoes, Hoka’s were what I decided was the most comfortable pair. Then we talked about another issue I’ve always had problems with when walking and she went and got some insole inserts she thought would help. The first pair she tried was what worked! I’m very pleased with the service and professionalism I got and will buy from them for now on. I’ll be a lifelong customer for that

Had a great all-around experience at Stout’s Footwear. The team warmly greeted me at the door and offered prompt assistance. After chatting about what I was looking for in a running shoe and trying a handful out, I had a pair picked out in about 10 minutes. For running shoe brands, they primarily carry Brooks, Hoka, and New Balance by the looks of it.
Efficient, friendly, conveniently located, and good prices - I will certainly be coming back for my next pair of shoes!
