I wasn't planning on reviewing Sunrise however when using Google to check what time they opened I was shocked to see SO many 1☆ Reviews, and strongly disagree.

My experiences have always been somewhere between uneventful to quite pleasant. There are times when I've gone in and simply been rang up then hit the door and then there are times when I've had some great impromptu conversations between being rang up and hitting the door. However, I can honestly say that I've never received rude service nor have I had any situations that would warrant a complaint.

I think what most people don't take into consideration is just how short staffed almost every business is currently which results in those in Customer Service roles being overworked and dealing with increasingly more demanding and customers who've become much more entitled, demanding & rude.

Are there times that I may have to wait a couple of minutes ~ yes, there's usually only ONE employee working and I'm not the only customer nor their only responsibility (deliveries, mail, etc).
Are there times when they've not got smiles planted on their face and don't initiate small talk ~ absolutely, but they're never rude and they always respond if I do.

Overall, I have zero complaints and am thankful for the staff they have currently, especially since they're able to continue operating during their set Business Hours. I also think that they're worthy of the 5☆ Review that I'm giving since I've always received good service.....

Went Friday night on the 10th at 10:50pm when they they were suppose to be open another hour. Went up to the door and the guy had all the lights off, was on his phone behind the counter with the doors locked. Hours on google should reflect the actual hours so people don't waste time and gas

Had a horrible experience, The cashier (older woman) completely unprofessional. Yelled and screamed because i asked, Why would you let another customer go ahead of me in line?

I don't know if it was the fact that I am African American or she is just a rude person. I feel bad for the sunrise brand. I would not want that kind of representation.

I will not be returning.

Went to get propane at 4:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday. The lady locked the door and said she'd be back in 5 minutes. I came back in 10 minutes and she still refused to get the propane. She said she couldn't do it right now and that it would be another 5 to 10 minutes. In all, she wasted at least 20 minutes of my day and was very rude and unhelpful! I will never step foot in any Sunrise store again and neither should you.

Buyer beware.......
I just refilled my 64 oz mug here and was charged for 2 44oz refills although their sign says refills are $0.89 (no size specification). When I pointed this out to the woman who charged me, she got rude.

By far the worst gas station in the Newburgh area all sales people are rude. Store and bathrooms are dirty. They don't have change if you use cash and 3 dollar minimum for cards.

Marathon gas. Bare bones store. Just the basics. Gas prices are always higher than average. Try Huck's instead.
