The Dust Collective has a huge selection of vintage clothing to look through that offers a variety of styles and sizes. They also have a fun $5 & $10 pile that is constantly being replenished with new goods. The owner is very knowledgeable about the items he carries and specializes in helping people find the perfect fitting jeans of their dreams

A hip hip vintage clothing store located in Des Moines, IA’s East Village. The owner is a Des Moines staple on his own. If you haven’t met Garrett Cornelison, you haven’t fully experienced Des Moines. This guy offered this tired dad a beer while we perused through his rare and unique findings including his personally designed pieces. It’s a must if you’re in the market for unique clothes and accessories you won’t find at any other thrift store in town.

Garett KNOWS quality vintage denim. I wasn’t sure where to begin with finding the right pair of jeans and I ended up getting the most helpful 101 on measurement, sizing, style, wash, wear. Turns out bodies are awesome and theres a few hacks to finding the right fit WITHOUT EVEN TRYING THEM ON. I won’t share this life changing wisdom here – you must go ask them show you! This is a must stop if you’re out and about in Des Moines.
