Madison was so lovely! I went to several shops prior to The Frock and every experience felt either chaotic or they were weird about me touching the dresses. When I visited The Frock, Madison gave me her full attention, let me peruse, and didn’t put any pressure on me to make a decision. She had such a unique collection for the not-so-average bride and I ended up finding exactly what I was looking for. The store is stunning and I highly highly recommend stopping by. She also gave me great recs for other vendors (it’s how I found my sweet photographer!).

I had the most incredible experience at The Frock in Bloomington! From the moment I walked in, Madison, the owner, made me feel so welcomed and at ease. Her friendly and communicative approach made the entire process enjoyable and stress-free.

For my first appointment, I brought my mom and sister along, and we were greeted with champagne and given the freedom to explore the store. Madison's expert guidance helped me find two stunning dresses that I absolutely loved. After the appointment, she even sent me a detailed email recap with website links to the dresses, which was so thoughtful and helpful.

I made a second appointment to bring my best friends along, and this time, I said yes to the dress! Madison was just as wonderful as before, helping me select the perfect veil and accessories to complete my bridal look. I couldn’t be happier with the experience and can’t wait for my dress to arrive in December. I highly recommend The Frock for any bride-to-be—the experience was nothing short of amazing, and I’m so excited for my wedding in April!

As a wedding planner, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Madison and The Frock for years. A few years ago, we even held a Southern Indiana Wedding Professionals meeting at The Frock, where we got to try on pieces and admire the gorgeous collection. That evening, I spotted a stunning blue and white floral dress and declared, “If I ever get married again, this will be my dress.”

Fast forward almost two years, and I found myself standing in The Frock with my mom and stepmom for my own bridal appointment. After trying on a few traditional gowns, I told them I wanted to show them the dress I had fallen in love with years ago—though I had no intention of purchasing it. It was bold and beautiful, but I thought I was just showing it off.

The moment I put it on, they both exclaimed, “This is it!” Seeing myself in that dress, I couldn’t stop smiling. Madison is a dream to work with, and The Frock is filled with so many incredible and one-of-a-kind gowns. The personal attention and care Madison provides make the entire process so easy and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a wedding dress, I can’t recommend The Frock enough! Madison is like a genius. Gave her my budget and inspiration and boom sooooo many dresses. My wedding was kinda quick so I knew I’d have to pick off the rack and boy did she deliver ! I was so worried I’d have to settle for whatever came my way but honestly every dress was stunning. She made me look so perfect to and added accessories to help guide me on my look for the big day. The veil she found too was literally perfect. Everyone complimented it and said it went with the dress.

The Frock was definitely worth the drive!! It’s so unique, stress free, and so many dress options. Working with smaller designers, you could customize almost any dress in so many ways to make it perfect for you. I went here my first time shopping and was able to get a great idea of things I was looking for, and things I didn’t like. I ended up getting a dress somewhere else, but it was such a tough decision choosing, and I still think about that dress all the time! The owner Madison was fantastic.
