Connie the owner never returns emails or phone calls. You will never get your deposit back no matter what. My husband stayed there for 3 months and I flew in and cleaned that place. My husband is very clean so the place was pretty much cleaned. His friend stayed there as well for 3 months in another room and he never got his deposit back either. Doesn't matter what ethnicity you are, your deposit is non-refundable.

What an awesome place. Owners have done a fantastic job with the rooms, and they go out of their way to accommodate guests. The rooms are immaculant, decorated to the 10s,and it is obvious the owners take pride in their facility. So much nicer than any hotel room. This will be our go to on our travels to Michigan, very convenient, less than a mile off I-69 highway . Would highly recommend if your picky like us on where you stay when traveling. Wonderful rooms nice and clean. Biggest issue was we were charged for bringing a pet. Both our pets were being taken care of by a friend. A bit distressing to be charged an extra fee for something we didn't do. Would have been 5 stars except for that. And won't be back.

We are frequent guests of the Lighthouse Inn. During our times here we have enjoyed the rooms and property. Owner/manager, Connie, goes above and beyond to assure that we have always been satisfied with our accommodations. The improvements made at the property in the past year have been a pleasure to see completed. We are very happy and would recommend staying here to anyone in need of a clean, safe place to stay.

Lovely place, very clean, and pretty. Fully stocked kitchen, all need is thought of. Serene, quiet, close to Duesenberg museum, 6.5 miles. The owner has gone to great lengths to make the room pleasing, very well decorated. All the comforts, a long stay is reccommended.

The rooms are well furnished with a microwave, mini fridge, air conditioner/heater, dresser, lots of storage space, and very comfortable beds. It also comes with WiFi and cable. The room is cleaned before you get to see it. The price per week is very reasonable. As long as you pay every Friday you can stay as long as you want. Even though there is not daily maid service and you will probably need cleaning supplies all in all it is worth it. There is even food and limited grocery shopping within walking distance.

Clean place, a quiet hideaway with all of the amenities you'd need. Owner is very responsive to any needs you may have. Couldn't imagine a better spot for a single person who needs a place to lay their head for a week or more!
