Over the past year, I have trusted Tony's Shoe Repair in Glenview with my two most favored pairs of shoes that I own. As a person who takes her shoes very seriously, this was a big deal- I don't buy shoes often but when I do, I wear them to the bone- and both of these pairs I was unable to find replacements of anywhere to buy new. Thankfully, Tony's Shoe Repair was able to not only bring both pairs back to life, but also enhance their overall quality that their designer brands could never even try to do!

The first pair was a pair of Stella McCartney heels that I had bought pre used in very rough shape, but their structure and shape and height were what I had been looking for forever and are shoes that I can wear all night at a wedding with no pain- the insides where completely shredded and falling apart, the whole structure of the shoe was crumbled besides the outer sole and heel- Tony's Shoe Repair completely restructured and created the shoe above and beyond what I could have hoped. Thanks to Tony's Shoe repair, I will have them forever, and their quality now is better than if I had bought the pair even brand new.

The second pair of shoes was a pair of designer boots known for their rugged but very specific and purposeful detailing that retail for around $900 (don't worry I didn't pay anywhere near that, I bought them used) but the soles were completely detaching and there were several signs of wear- the look of the shoe new is supposed to be a "worn rugged edgy" look, which can even be harder to repair and maintain the look of the shoe, but Tony's enhanced the quality, maintained the "cool" artsy look of the shoe, and perfected them. I also embarrassingly completely forgot I had dropped them off at Tony's because I had gone so long without wearing them because of the condition they were in, and they were kind enough to graciously remind me, and even stayed open later for me to come and pick them up.

Tony's Shoe Repair operates with such integrity and does only the highest quality of work as well as high quality customer service. They are kind, organized, professional, and genuine. My shoes are better than new, and will last me years to come. I am so thankful to have a shoe repair I can trust!

The best repair shop!!! Went to this little gem of a place after it was recommended online! They worked wonders on my husband’s leather shoes that were badly damaged! Look at the before and after!!!!

I have benefitted from the skilled team at Tony's Shoe Repair multiple times over my years of living in Glenview. Most recently, I had a pair of Christian Louboutin stilettos mangled by a cobblestone street. I tried and failed hard to fix the heel tips myself. I now live in Texas but I came to Glenview to visit family. I called Tony's Shoe Repair, explained my problem, and sent pictures. He said he could fix it. When I arrived in town, I dropped them off on day 1 of my trip. 48 hours and $20 later and my heels look really great! I'm so grateful for the skill and experience of the team here. It's a really special service they provide.

One of the most negative experiences i have had at a shoe repair.The shoe repair in my town referred me to him saying he could fix the issue. I drove an hour to inquire about a cracked heel and the guy talked to me in a very demeaning and condescending way. He talked to me like i was an idiot, please if you are reading this sir, you need to learn how to speak to people with kindness.

Bottom of the shoes are naturally slippery so I brought my pair in to get the bottom of them covered with no slip pads. Phenomenal work as the bottoms look the exact same still. Still get the red bottom look while making it easier to walk in them. Would highly recommend

Have a belt that I needed shortened. The staff at Tony’s did a great job! Very professional and quick service. Don’t hesitate to stop by. Would recommend to anyone.

Tony’s has repaired a pair of combat boots and a purse both falling apart and awfully skuffed up. They both looked brand new afterwards. Reasonably priced but don’t forget cash because they do not accept credit cards. Highly recommend
