Satisfied over all. There were some issues with customer service and getting the delivery by the date i wanted it. First the wrong tent was sent. The email response said that the correct one would be sent out that same day and they would send me a ups label for the return. Several days later no tent and no UPS label sent, so i contacted again. Then they tell me i have to get the other one returned before they will send the correct one. They responded essentially saying it was my fault for not having yet returned the one they sent wrong. Despite saying nothing about this when telling me that the correct one would be immediately sent that same day they received the email. Unfortunately I was planning on using the tent but it didn't arrive in time due to the delays.

There also seems to be something off with the water treatment on the canvas. I wet it down to shrink up any small holes from the stitching. At which point I noticed at the seams approximately 4-5" on either side of the seams that the canvas absorbed more water. I'm guessing the canvas is treated before sewing and maybe the sewing machine affects the treatment where it goes through the machine. When you run our hand on the inside of the tent the canvas field is bone dry except where the 4" strip either side of the seams is slightly damp. Thats when I've soaked it good with a hose though so I don't expect an issue in the field.

When owner discovered the issues I raised he apologized and replaced the tent along with a fly.

Purchased a 16x20 wall tent with a wood stove to use seasonally on a recreational property on Manitoulin Island until we build. The tent has performed very well and stood up to some high winds and big rain storms without issues. We are on our 4th season with it and have no regrets. Tent is comfortable and everyone who visits is impressed with it.

Had a small issue with the spigot on the water tank that came with the wood stove, but they just mailed me a replacement without much hassle.

I am 6 ft tall so we bought it with an extra foot of height. If I were to do it again, I would not have bothered with the extra height.

If you are looking for a wall tent to buy, go no further and buy one from these guys. Tyler could have not been a better person to work with on figuring out what tent would work best for my project. They were prompt in emails, phone calls, tips and tricks. Shipping was great as well. Couldn't be happier with these guys and look forward to working with them in the future.

Congratulations! Your search for the best all around tent has ended. I've had my 10x12 wall tent for about 3 years now. Not a single problem. Canvas is very durable, & the reinforced ridge & corners are aptly designed. Zippers & clips are heavy duty & ready to take on the wind. Customer service is solid, with deep knowledge about tents, poles, & angle kits. My 10x12 came with 3 rafters. I opted for 4 (requires additional angle kit) so my ceiling doesn't sag, & to better hold the solar panels. Wind & rain, cold & hot, this tent solidly delivers. Owner is generous with rope & tensioners. Get the fly. Don't risk unnecessary damage to the canvas. Fly is cheaper to replace. I passed on the windows as a friend advised they tend to gather rain & dew. Just go with front & rear doors.
I'll be back in my tent in about 10 days, & I can't wait.

Got a 16x20 tent from the Wall Tent Shop a few years back. This tent has been amazing! The quality is top notch, everything is well thought out and heavy duty. I had a few questions about step up and they responded immediately. This tent was quite an investment upfront but it has really paid off, allowing family and friends to spend more time outdoors than ever before. If you are thinking about building a small cabin, or buying an RV or camper please please please consider a wall tent from The Wall Tent Shop instead. It is the best of all worlds!

Update after a few years of using my wall tent for a few months every year. Tent has been great! No problems whatsoever. I emailed Wall Tent Shop with a question about the ropes used for the rain fly and they responded very quickly and answered all my questions. Very professional. Please don't hesitate if you are thinking about getting a canvas wall tent from the Wall Tent Shop!

I purchased a 10 x 10 Spike tent 20 years ago and have used it in extremely tough conditions every year. I have rolled it, drug it, tossed it and packed it all over 3 states. Just took it out to air out and clean and after an inspection had to do no cleaning. Everything is still in great shape so it's headed to Montana this year for some more abuse. You can't go wrong by using the Wall Tent Shop.

Shipping was super fast. The tent went up in a flash and withstood cold and rain first time out. I would compare it to any of my other tents. Wall Tent Shop tent is on then left.

He obtained information to any question he couldn't answer within hours (I had a lot of extraordinary custom questions) and provided extra services not usually offered to help me feel more comfortable with the product ordered.
I look forward to receiving my custom wall tent ordered through Montana Canvas whose customer service has also been exemplary and am quite certain it will be spectacular. I will certainly post a follow up review with photos once my tent has been erected.
