We bought a Walter studio 1500 back in 1998 for our daughter who was 4 at the time, and starting piano lessons. We chose a Walter due to their outstanding reputation for design, choice of quality raw materials and superb craftsmanship. We wanted to give our daughter the best chance to learn with a high quality instrument, rather than pay less and give her an inferior product that would soon impede her musical development. Now 18 years later, we can attest that this decision was the best for all of us. The Walter showroom in Elkhart is worth the trip if one wants to experience such quality.

My new Charles R Walter upright piano was delivered in March 2018 and I could not be happier. Prior to purchasing, I visited their factory in Indiana and I was extremely impressed with their workmanship. Rachel was extremely helpful and stayed in constant contact with me until the piano was delivered. This piano has the best tone and key response I have ever found in an upright piano and I spent over 2 years researching and sampling other pianos. I would highly, highly , highly recommend this company and piano to any musician.

We just received our Charles Walter piano and it has exceeded all expectations. It is a quality instrument with beautiful sound and a beautiful exterior. I had a lovely experience going to directly to the showroom and factory in Elkhart. It was a treat to see the factory and to try out all the pianos on the floor. Seeing how the pianos were made and knowing the quality of construction gave me peace of mind. The piano I have is beautiful! The tone is gorgeous and it’s a dream to play. I highly recommend Walter PIano Company!

We've had our Walter piano for 35 years. Stays in tune even though tuned very rarely. We have now passed it on to our daughter and two of our grandchildren are now playing the piano. It still looks great.
