We went in for a coffee and we sat in. The girls gave the coffee in to go cups without lids. Coffee tastes burnt or from a press machine. Prices make sense for the type of coffee served

We had coffee and some food over there. You can get cold sandwiches and wraps and ask them to toast it for you. We had chicken sandwich and veg wrap which tasted good. Brewed coffee was also amazing. They also had variety of Frappe to try as well

Green tea tasted perfumery. staff exchanged for a cappuccino which tasted like i do not know. Staff helpful products really poor.

This is a really nice café. Its a good spot to stop for a takeaway coffee. I remember it different to the last time I was there some years back. This was pre covid. It seemed much friendlier. The counter is now surrounded by a wall of perspex and the only space through which one can be heard is a small hole near the till where customers and staff can hand back and forward money. It might seem like a silly question, but why hasn't it been taken down?

When I entered, I'd a period of about 2 or 3 minutes trying to make eye contact with the waitress who was busy making a coffee for another customer. It felt uncomfortable as I didn't know whether I should sit down and wait for table service or stay where I was and place an order at the counter. Another member of staff returned from whatever she was doing and gave a welcoming "hello" which was nice. I said , "excuse me..." to the first waitress I encountered when I first came in and she snapped, "one minute", before I could get any further. It didn't seem particularly busy so I wondered what might be the source if the barrista's stress.

I ordered a latte which was well made. The selection of food was your standard overly-sweet cakes one sees at most cafes these days. I remember the last time I was here there was a mixture of savoury and sweet on offer. Seating is sparse with a couple of high chairs and small counter at the front and a low bench and some very low tables (beneath the level of the bench) at the other window. Its not the type of place one would go to have a discussion or business meeting. Overall, I'd go back and I'd also recommend the place for a good cup of take away coffee. I wish it was a little more welcoming at it was the first time I visited.

We arrived with high expectations as the cafe is highly regarded in pretty much any review guide. While coffee was good (not mind-blowingly so), the food was slightly disappointing given the standard we expected.

Salmon bagel tasted good with the exception that the bagel is not actually a bagel but a bun with a hole - fake news. Porridge on the other hand was without any major issues - maybe not salty enough for our taste, but nothing major really.

Beautifully crafted cafe. Coming from the latte art, food and décor. Our lunch came out super quick. I had the California dreaming bagel and it was astonishingly balanced with all the dominant ingredients. Would highly recommend here.
