As an update to the review written last year which follows below, Wawasee Boat Co. once again provided incredible service and care for us as a customer. WBC is a business that truly appreciates their customers and their employees, and it is reflected in the service they provide. In 14+ years, we have never experienced otherwise. Once again, Andy, Dave and the people at WBC have provided another example for us to use in our own business with our employees to promote a culture of excellence.

(Review posted in 2024) Doug, Andy and all the people at WBC are EXCELLENT! We've dealt with them for years and never had one a negative experience. We've had boats that for some reason end up not working (often owner running over the tow rope) and WBC sends someone right over to take care of the situation so we do not lose the weekend. This year our boat had a crack in the hull and even with the shortage of boats, Doug, Andy et. al. have provided us with another boat to use for the summer. They instead could have easily sold the boat and left us with no boat for the season. They even covered the insurance premium for us on the boat. Another instance of going well beyond to make sure their customers are cared for. There are few companies that have such a concern about their customer and are as responsive. I read the last review which is a 1 star - I'd likely say that Doug and his crew were honoring their commitments to customers they had already made rather than shunning someone. There has to be a lot more to it than is written because this is one business that does not turn their back on customers. In fact, just the opposite. WBC is truly responsible for making our lake experience very enjoyable and without any frustrations, which often can arise when owning watercraft.

I have used Wawasee Boat company for years and have always found them to have fair pricing , be courteous and more importantly , go above and beyond in service. As a boat owner who only is at “the lake “ on the weekends they make sure all is good. Recently, I had an issue with my boat and not only did they send someone out on a holiday weekend but brought a new Natique for us to use as they make sure my boat is up to snuff. Recommend without reservation!

Very friendly and helpful boat rental. Reasonable price for pontoon. Service staff helped us by blowing up inflatables. Free ice cream was a bonus!

After 75+ years of loyalty we have been shunned. Unreturned phone calls and emails requesting service for our Yamaha Waverunner (fifth one purchased from WBC not to mention several boats) we went there in person only to be told they couldn’t service it, not today, not in a week, not ever. All we needed was a tune up after winterization. A return call would have saved us the humiliation of showing up to be literally sent away with no recommendation or suggestions. Sorry WBC, we’re done with you.

This marina won't give you the time of day unless you are one of their previous customers who has ordered a 100k + Nautique who owns property on Wawasee. I've been asked Everytime I call for a service appt or trouble shooting help:
So do you have a place on the water?
So who is your servicing dealer?
Where did you purchase your boat?
Oh, I'm sorry we are at least 6-8 weeks out, have a nice day!
