We stopped in to pick up a few lures and had the best experience. Amanda was very helpful and super knowledgeable. She gave my guys a ton of tips about local fishing. The shop is tiny but loaded with supplies. The best customer service.

We've been coming to Maui since 2000;) We always use West Maui and they've always delivered quality gear@great prices. The owner is a great guy and is always willing to help anytime we've had questions or needed help with a product. Whatever you do, DON'T buy the cheap gear from the mainland, always rent local because you'll get 10x better gear, at a fraction of the price.

We rented snorkeling equipment for the week. The rate was the best around and the equipment was brand new and of high quality! As if this wasn’t reason enough to come here the service was exceptional! The advice we received for the local spots to snorkel at was spot on…we saw so many amazing fish and lots and lots of turtles based on their recommendations. They went above and beyond to ensure we knew where to go and what to do to successfully snorkel in West Maui! I highly recommend this locally owned and operated establishment! I’m so grateful we stumbled upon this gem!

I had a great experience at West Maui Sports and Fishing Supply. They were super friendly and helpful in educating me in how to set up our fishing pole, supplies to get and where to go fish. My son and I have had several successful fishing adventures since. So grateful for all the help. My son is Stoked!

Saw the great reviews and decided to stop by to rent some fishing gear for our vacation. Gentleman at the counter was very gruff and explained that they only rent by the week and it costs $100. I would have considered it but the poles were very beat up and all you get is the reel, pole and line. You do not get any tackle box included in that price. What good is a pole without tackle? As any fisherman knows you could spend double that in tackle very easily.

This place is amazing for rentals! We went yesterday and rented fishing poles, bought all of our fishing gear and bait from them. They answered so many of our questions that we had about rules etc for fishing here in Maui. The customer service was outstanding and the prices were amazing! We had so much fun fishing yesterday with our kids. We returned our fishing gear today and rented snorkel equipment from them. If we come back to Maui ever I would for sure come back to rent from here again! I highly recommend checking these guys out for any of your rental needs while in Maui!

Store owner was very helpful and friendly. Fully stocked supplies for water sports at very reasonable prices. I would highly recommend checking them out for swimming/snorkeling gear.
