This place is awesome. The staff was very helpful and made you feel welcome. Went in to buy some lures and ended up with several lures, three new rods and three new reels. Houston was a big help!

I purchased a Wahoo dock from GLL Marine and they exceeded my expectations with one exception. The part time salesperson that handled the sale proved to be hard to reach and unresponsive once we signed the contract. He was johnny-on-the-spot during the purchase process, but showed little interest thereafter. I finally gave up trying to reach this person and started working with the owner Matt and he was exceptionally helpful. I would have given GLL a 5 except for the challenging experience with the part time young salesperson. Even after the dock was delivered and installed I never heard from him. Again Matt is great and I suggest you either deal with him or Bill Golden if you are making a major purchase like this.

We had a little bit of confusion with some previous wording on the website, but when we brought it to their attention, they worked hard to make things right. we rented three kayaks for half a day. The amount of time it takes to get down the river does vary so we did not take as long as we expected, but we had a fantastic time! We will for sure be renting again!

My 14 yr old son and I drove from Atlanta to find a good fishing spot. After blanking out in downtown Columbus, Lake Oliver and a couple of other spots, we happened on to the dam at Hardley Creek Recreation Area. Other anglers were hitting on some big Stripers with some jigs we didnt have. I got on Google and found the nearest fishing supply store. Matt answered the phone. He was polite and helpful and reassuring. He said he fishes that same spot often and told us exactly what jigs we needed. I bought 3 of the ones he recommended. Within a few minutes of returning, my son was pulling in some 4-5 lb Stripers. Matt was so helpful. He really knows fishing. You should take the time to go meet him and get some gear. He will guide you in the right direction whether you are a beginner or a pro. What a beautiful, nicely-stocked store he has. He really made our day.
