I usually find great deals here for my household projects like recently we got new door knobs for all the doors inside our house (6 total) for $18 but recently the prices of the furniture has been comparable to brand new showroom prices. $1200 for a bedroom set is what I expect to pay at Rooms 2 Go or Badcock for brand new, not used at a large thrift store. We did get a dresser for our sons room for $25 but it was shortly after we bought it that prices started going up.

Today we didn't find anything. But having said that we love Habitat! The people who work there are so nice and helpful. We love looking through the home repair supplies and building material. We always have a home project going.
The last big items I bought was a old patio set. No one wanted it. You marked it down to $200. With my half off card it was only $100. I put a lot of hard work into it, but its beautiful. I wouldn't have gotten one chair for that price. Love Habitat!

Take your time and find exactly what you're looking for as well as other awesome finds. You might even pick up some cool kitsch art, like this pair of 32"x34" (81.28cm x 86.36cm) canvas prints: Evening Lounge and Cigar Bar - Artist: Brent Lynch). Retail: more than $200 for the pair. Habitat Restore: $10 each. Don't forget to donate your cool stuff, too. Habitat does good work for families.

A lot of variety of items. They have many half price days as well .But I will admit that this Venice location is one of the most expensive Restore Stores I have been too and the quality of merchandise is no better. This store is very well organized!

Barely any parking and they will not let you park in the first designated handicap spot because they use that for their delivery truck that has no legal handicap tag.

I got a very good deal on a brand new couch set at one of these but that was almost 10 years ago. I was very excited to visit one, especially in Florida. Unfortunately, I was very let down. The prices for the used furniture are way high. Along with many other things. There are some things here and there that were a good deal but most of it was highly overpriced. Especially for the shape most of the things were in. I understand this is a place where you really have to look, which I usually enjoy doing, but this was a huge bummer. I'd be better off checking out a salvation army or even craigslist. Sad to see, but at least I know now.

I was shopping today at 10:00 am, and the sale sign on the wall said all clothing was $1.00. I took my purchases to the checkout, was charged $1.00 each, and had to buy another bag for $4 in order to get the discount. (I already have several, but I gladly buy their bags all the time.) Good deal so far. Then MARK, the cashier, got the same story from the lady behind me in line, and told her he would let her slide this time. Hmm. Ok. No $4 bag for her. So two hours later, I returned to buy more clothing. I went to the checkout and was informed that the sale no longer applied. I explained that I was there only two hours ago, and asked what happened. The cashier next to him said she would honor the discount for me. MARK told her not to “dare” give me the sale price. I asked why. He said they were a charity and were there to make money. Then he walked off and left the other cashiers standing there. Isn’t everything Habitat is selling something that they received for free?! I’m happy to pay whatever they ask, but that cashier was so rude, I will never return. There are too many other thrifts to shop at that are polite and non confrontational. It was very upsetting.
