I don’t typically leave reviews, nor do I think I ever have, but I HAD to for this company! My engagement ring was distorted and they were able fix it within a very timely manner and reasonable price, in my opinion. I swear my ring came out looking better than it did when we bought it! Everyone at this location was so kind and helpful, and I immediately recommended them to a close relative as soon as I left the store. Thank y’all so much for getting my ring fixed and looking better than new. I would love to do more business with them in the future! (Hopefully not for the same issue though)

The owner of this establishment is the most dishonest man we have ever had the misfortune to meet.
We wanted assistance resizing/adjusting my gold-plated enhancer ring so that it would adequately fit my rose gold diamond engagement ring. We very clearly relayed to the manager Amy that while the engagement ring was all rose gold, the enhancer was only rose gold-plated silver. She took the rings in a back room to the owner and many minutes later came back and told us the ring enhancer could not be adjusted. We thanked her for her time and honesty (how naive), and while she (audaciously) tried to convince us to stick around and purchase a different enhancer directly from them, we politely declined.
Shortly afterwards on our commute home we noticed the gold had been manually SCRATCHED OFF of my enhancer ring and my gold engagement ring was also scratched thoroughly on the same side. We called Amy to question this and she quickly built her defense. She openly admitted that the owner tested the rings to see if they were gold this way! She claims he “wanted to make sure the enhancer wasn’t actually all gold”. Why was this ever necessary? We disclosed the material of each piece before Amy took the rings back to Dwayne (the owner). And even though we NEVER asked for my beautiful brand new rose gold diamond engagement ring to be touched, the owner had the AUDACITY to DAMAGE all of my rings and the AUDACITY to allow us to walk out of his store, while he sat behind a wall like a coward, crossing his fingers, hoping we wouldn’t notice.

Why not come out and admit that you damaged my ring? Offer to re-dip it for free? A “you break it, you buy it” scenario as we tend to do in a civil society?
Would you not demand that I replace something in your store if I PURPOSELY damaged it?
And if you tested my engagement ring, why not bother to buff it back out, for goodness sakes!? I cried at seeing my expensive ring scratched after only a few days of wearing it.
And why did Amy say nothing? She was in the back with Dwayne the entire time? She brought my rings back in her hands in her brightly-lit showroom and turned a blind eye to the damage done.

My husband was upset, but fair and civil on the call. But Amy evaded all responsibility! She promised to speak to the owner and call us back. And, as predictable as crooks without integrity or morals can get— no call back, no apology from Dwayne.

My mom was very recently diagnosed with Acute Leukemia. Apparently a very aggressive form of cancer. The doctors gave her 2 to 4 weeks to live. I asked her a million times, please tell me anything that you want or need and Ill do everything in my power to make sure you get it. The day after she came home from the hospital, she told me she would very much like to wear her necklace, that months before had been broken. I assured her that I would do my best. That afternoon I started calling jewelry stores. Every jewelry store I called said it would take 3 to 4 weeks to have the necklace fixed. I know I called 10 stores. I was becoming very discouraged and upset I wouldn't be able to get my mothers necklace back to her in time. The only store left to call was Lakemont Jewelers in Lavonia, GA. When I calleda very nice man named Dwayne picked up the phone. I explained to him what I needed and told him about my mom. He said they were really busy and he couldn't promise anything but he would try his best to fix and return the necklace to me as soon as possible. They called me first thing the next morning to pick up my moms necklace! I can't even begin to tell you how overjoyed I was to get that call. The way I see it is Lakemont Jewelry cared enough to make my moms last wish come true. If you want to go to a jewelry store that will listen and who really cares about you, please give Lakemont Jewelers as chance. They are now at the top of my list when it comes to purchasing or repairing any jewelry I have. I uploaded a picture of my mom when showed her the necklace. The smile on my moms face is priceless. I wanted to get an engagement ring for my fiancé that would be very special. Lakemont Jewelers was a huge help. I brought them a diamond from my family and my fiancé’s family, and they were able to create a custom band to mount them to with a diamond I bought there. It turned out better than I could have ever imagined and it is priceless to my fiancé due to the sentimental nature of the stones. Nikki was extremely helpful and assisted me in every way she could without being pushy or hovering over me as some sales staff can. She was extremely knowledgeable as well. We also bought our wedding bands here and will return with any future jewelry needs.

I have a simple gold wedding band. And for our anniversary we were looking to add to it. We had shopped other jewellers on line but with no luck. When we thought we would try our local Lakemont jewellery store. After walking in Nikki was very pleasant and informative, on all my questions. They had exactly what we were looking for. We added full diamind anniversary bands to each side of my original band. And after just a couple days I had my " new" ring back. It's stunning, everyone says it looks like a completely different ring!! I still can't stop looking at it! So, thank you for everything Lakemont, you'll see me again!

Lakemont Jewelers were exceptionally wonderful with helping my (now) fiancé with the ring choice. He went in and had found the one he was interested in, but it was not in the store. Instead, they had the ring shipped in overnight, and it was there for him to admire the next day! They were very professional with all of the accurate information with the ring. My fiancé said he walked into a beautiful, classy establishment and was highly impressed!
We are now looking at the matching wedding band for our big day.
