I went to see how much they offered me for 4 items, two Columbia jackets with tags, two Ralph Lauren pants and they offered me $10. The clothes and things you find could also be at Goodwill, nothing really good, nothing interesting. I wanted to buy a used pair of sweatpants and they charged me $13. Really a rip-off, don't waste your time.

This shop is fine; prices are fine, whether selling or buying (if you want something cheaper, just go to the Goodwill next door). But the staff are rude, combative, and act more like a bunch of teenagers hanging out than a team of employees.

This Plato’s Closet is an absolute disappointment for selling shoes. Workers are lazy, rude and they offer close to nothing when selling. They had the audacity to offer $8 for a pair of Off-Whites barely worn, and outright rejected several other high-end pairs, including near-deadstock Jordans (Flu Games, Jordan 1s, Aqua 8s) , two pairs of Air Uptempos—one of which was a never-released colorway obtained only by working at Nike. Had over 10 shoes and left with $16 for the shoes. The trip wasn’t worth the gas it took to get there. You’re likely to leave feeling worse than if you’d sold your Playstation to GameStop. In fact, a pawn shop would be a far better use of your time. Even donating to Goodwill would yield a better return on investment, considering the tax write-off. Honestly, you'd probably make more just selling them to someone in a Walmart checkout line.

I drove 45 minutes to Platos Closet just for them to tell me that it’s 3 people’s drop offs they have to do and they are short staff so they could not take mine. Then offered me to go to the Jonesboro location which is AN HOUR away from their location. That’s disrespectful!!! I called before I came to ask a question, it should have been communicated with me that they were not accepting any more drop offs on that day. Not to mention, they were standing at the register talking and not even checking the drop offs. When taking these pictures the little girl waved at the camera… ghetto. The store is filthy and smells awful. Plato’s needs to do better!

They got good stuff when you’re buying, but you don’t get you enough money if you selling. I make no more than $30 with big bags of trendy and new clothes. Plus the staff are rude & don’t want anything to do with you.

I've tried this store out a few times, im Sneaker collector so I know fakes when I see them and I see a lot of fake sneakers in there.. I legit took a pretty much new pair of authentic off white sneakers not a hyped up model but a very nice pair amongst other brand new apparel with the tags. They've told me it wasn't name brand, but clearly they're out of touch with what's name brand. Ended up working out because I was able to give it all to a homeless guy on my way home, the highlight is a there is very courteous young man that's nice to me everytime I've come and even he seems confused at why my items aren't accepted, the rest of staff is pretty rude and unprofessional. -0/0 recommend
